We offer programs for newcomers, teaching fundamentals in a supportive environment.
Our expert coaches run small classes with the optimal 1:8 coach to participant ratio to give us the ensure that your child receives the attention they deserves.

A: The number of children in each class varies but our classes are capped at a maximum of 24 students. We have coach to player ratios of at least 1 coach to 8 players to ensure optimal guidance and personalised training.

A: We offer 9-week classes, one session per week, aligned with the school term.
Fees adjust for shorter terms or mid-term joins, so you only pay for remaining classes in the term.

A: SwishLab Basketball training classes for kids cater for 2 age groups: iHeart program for 6-9 and Basket-Roo's program 10-16.

A: Yes, Swishlab Basketball offers carefully tailored training drills for different age groups to optimize skills development and ensure a fun, engaging experience for all young athletes.
For younger players in the iHeart program, drills focus on fundamental skills such as dribbling, shooting, and passing through games and activities designed to build basic competency and foster a love for the sport.
Intermediate age groups in Basket-Roo's receive training that enhances basketball IQ, agility, and coordination, incorporating more advanced movements and strategies.
Each age-specific training regimen is crafted by our team of expert coaches to build confidence and promote growth both on and off the court.

A: Children should wear comfortable athletic attire, such as shorts, t-shirts or singlet, and supportive shoes with good grip and ankle support.

A: Yes, Swishlab Basketball offers free trial classes for children if spots are available. To request for a free trial follow this link here. Once submitted the Swishlab team will be in contact within 48 hours.

A: Once your booking is processed, it is confirmed for the full term and we do not offer cancellations, refunds or credits. For unexpected absences due to sickness or injury our team will review and determine the appropriate course of action. A medical certificate or relevant documentation will likely be requested.

A: Training programs are $249 for 9 weeks aligned to the school term.
All payments are per term but we pro-rate our classes so if you join later in the term, you will not be charged for sessions that occurred prior to you joining the program. You can book your child into one of our classes here. Once registration and session is booked the Swishlab team will be in contact within a fortnight ahead of the first session and provide the information you need to start.

A: Yes, we take photos and videos during training at Swishlab Basketball to enhance training and provide feedback.
They may also be used for marketing on our website and social media.
We prioritize privacy and seek consent before use. Discuss any concerns with our staff.

A: At Swishlab Basketball, we are committed to fostering a positive and respectful environment for all our athletes.
If inappropriate behaviour is observed in class, it will be addressed promptly to maintain this atmosphere. Initial instances will be met with a warning and a discussion about acceptable conduct.
Repeated or severe misconduct may result in further disciplinary actions, which can include suspension or expulsion from the program.
Our top priority is to ensure that every athlete can learn and grow in a safe and supportive setting.
